There's an engaging PvE game mode too, with historical campaign and solo missions if you want a break from the PvP action. Some naval air and aircraft battles take place over oceans around the world. PvP gameplay in War Thunder takes place across vast battlefields, often set in historical locations of war like the fields of Normandy, Berlin, Korea, and many more.
